How to add webcam to Windows desktop recordings with Mirillis Action!

Introduction

With this tutorial you will learn how to setup Action! Webcam Settings to add webcam video to your real-time Windows screen recording.

Select Webcam and open Webcam Settings

To setup webcam recording please open Action! Video capture tab and enable Webcam option. Select your Webcam device from dropdown menu and open Webcam Settings.

Adjust webcam settings

Use Webcam Settings window to adjust your webcam settings. Make sure to switch Action! to Preview mode and check “Draggable mode” option. Now use your mouse to move and resize webcam on Preview area.

Make a Windows desktop recording and check the result

Make a test screen recording to check if you like current webcams settings.

How to disable webcam recording

If you would like to disable webcam video in your gameplay recordings just disable Webcam option in main Video recording tab.
